Insurance & Release of Liability: Applicant understands that sailing is a hazardous and dangerous activity and shall release CCSA and its members, officers, and directors from any and all liability which may arise from the use of CCSA owned boats. Applicant further understands that they are solely responsible to secure their own insurance coverage as they desire, for the use of any sailboat (either CCSA owned or privately owned). 

Conduct: I agree to abide by the by-laws and rules of the Capital City Sailing Association (CCSA). As CCSA is a member of the US Sailing organization, all of our sailing activities (social & practice racing) are conducted under the latest edition of the Racing Rules of Sailing (available under “Safety rules and safety” section on Homepage). I also agree that I will have insurance as stipulated above and will conform to all City and State law, Racing Rules of Sailing, and CCSA regulations. I further agree that Capitol City Sailing Association cannot be held responsible for any injuries or liabilities incurred by my family, my guests, my property, or me. 

*Seasonal fee to use a CCSA club boat – during Spring & Fall sailing seasons. During the Summer season, Club Boats need to be available for the program of Sailing Lessons, but can be used by the Spring or Fall hirer when not being used for Summer Sailing Lessons.
*The above policy also applies to Student Associate member boat use (5-15 & 16-22 y/o) - for Optis/Sail Cubes, Laser, C420, Sunfish, & MB.
*Prior to using any hired club boat, the skipper must have their sailing skills verified.
*Only the designated Club Boat selected by the hirer shall be used. The hirer will have the option to change to a different club boat for the Fall season, pending availability.
